Plate Planner is a free meal planner that builds your whole week — breakfast, lunch and dinner — around your health needs, your goals, your budget, and what’s already in your kitchen. Every meal comes with the full recipe, per-serving nutrition, and a grocery list that merges the week and subtracts your pantry.
Most recipe sites estimate nutrition. Plate Planner grounds its numbers against USDA nutrition data — a self-hosted database of over 7,600 foods — so the calories, protein, sodium, potassium and phosphorus on a recipe reflect its actual ingredients. Where a number can’t be verified, we say so rather than guess: on our health-focused recipe collections, values are verified or absent, never invented.
The planner understands eight health profiles — from heart-healthy and diabetes-friendly to kidney-friendly cooking with potassium and phosphorus limits — and plans every meal, swap and side around them. Profiles stack, and household mode plans one table that works for everyone at it.
Plate Planner is made by Plate Planner, a small independent project in California. It’s free to use — if it helps you, you can support it on ko-fi. Questions, ideas or problems: support@plateplanner.ai.
