25 min

Juicy chicken breasts, marinated in a blend of spices and grilled to perfection, make these tacos a flavorful delight. The crunch of shredded cabbage adds a satisfying texture to each bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8-10 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 lime
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons crema
  • Sliced radish and cilantro for garnish

Method

  1. 1Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  2. 2Season the chicken breasts with oregano, chili powder, and cumin.
  3. 3Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the meat is slightly charred.
  4. 4Meanwhile, prepare the slaw by combining shredded cabbage, carrots, and diced red onion in a bowl.
  5. 5Juice the lime over the slaw and mince the garlic on top.
  6. 6Squeeze the slaw mixture onto warmed tortillas, then slice the grilled chicken and serve atop the slaw.
